Hello Everyone Attendees are NOT required to be vaccinated to enter McCormick Place and the WVC competition areas on level 3. All attendees will be required to wear a mask at all times anywhere in McCormick Place.
The covid protocols for venues serving food in Chicago are different than for entering McCormick Place which are as stated above. However, to enter McCormick Place food venues, attendees will need to show an ID and proof of vaccination status. Only the South Food Court on floor 2.5 will be in operation at McCormick Place and will be following the Chicago protocols for venues serving food as stated. There are no food venues in the WVC competition halls this year.

We have worked diligently overtime with McCormick Place to maximize the safety of participating in the WVC. We are announcing today, 12/27, a cooperative agreement to add North Hall B to the event. This will allow us to provide socially distanced courts. Your cooperation and minimizing mixing will greatly enhance the safety of the competitive environment.

2022 Protocols of Play at McCormick Place: 1. There will be no handshake at the start or end of matches. 2. Teams will not switch sides between sets. 3. Players, coaches, and families must wear masks at all time including on-court. 4. Social distancing is requested at all times. 5. Warm up balls must be provided by the teams.
