General Information: Date: Jan 18,19,20,2020 Playing Site:Hall A of South Bldg at McCormick Place, 2301 S King Dr, Chicago, IL 60616 NOTE: NO OUTSIDE CHAIRS ARE ALLOWED. (We have seating at every court.)
Event Description: Open/USA/Club divisions: Three day Festival Format with Elimination Playoffs on Monday. All Teams play at least 1 match on Monday. AM wave begins at 8 am and PM wave begins 3 pm on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3, all play is AM with the last matches scheduled no later than 4 pm. This event operates under the guidelines of the USAV Boys Championship and Girls Championship Manuals. You may access them online from WVC Info link below as well. The BWVC tournament ball is Molten FLISTATIC (V5M5000-3). The GWVC and Too will use the Molten Super Touch.

Officials We will schedule 1st Referees for all rounds. The cadre includes a large contingent of International, National, and Junior National officials. In the case of circumstances beyond our control, coaches may be asked to assist (as we have done for years).
Schedules andResultswill be Posted at AES. SPECIAL NOTE: DO NOT LEAVE THE VENUE ON ANY DAY WITHOUT VERIFYING YOUR PLAYING/OFFICIATING RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE NEXT ROUND OF PLAY.

There are no Bids in the Boys Club divisions.
Event Roster & Medical/Emergency Release Form Requirements: 1. All players listed on the roster must be registered or members in good standing with their respective member organization. 2. All players must meet age classifications requirements. NOTE: Age waiver players are NOT eligible for qualification events and national competitions (National & Regional Qualifiers and the Junior Olympics) 3. All staff listed on the roster must be registered or members in good standing with their respective member organization. A staff member listed on the roster for the team/club will be with the team/club at all times during while attending this competition. 4. All coaches are required to be impact certified at a minimum. 5. A staff member listed on the roster for the team will be with this team and have in their immediate possession during this competition a complete and legible copy of the medical/emergency release form for each player listed on the official roster. 6. The team understands it is subject to any and all penalties for incorrect or incomplete information on this form or incomplete or incorrect results information. 7. The roster for any team earning a bid will be frozen as submitted on this form.
Checkin McCormick Place South bldg Hall A: 6:30pm to 9:30pm on Friday Saturday checkin is at Hall F at 6:45am to 12:30pm. (Emergency roster changes may be made at Championship until your 1st match.)
TheClub Director and/or Coach will be required to bring 2 Clean AES Roster and sign/date their AES roster.This must be done prior to Team play. Please do this carefully. If changes need to be made at checkin, a computer station w/ printer will be available for a $10 fee. No Roster additions (players or coaches) may be made at a Bid Tournament once a team has commenced match play in that event. Late registering teams will be subject to sanctions per current USAV Official Rule Book.
WVC COACHES Are you prepared for registration? You will need 2 clean copies of your roster. On the backside of one roster (to leave at registration), Please, provide the following information:

What is the Head coach's cell phone number?
At which Hotel is coach/team staying if applicable?
Have you printed out your lineup sheets?see above
NO COACHES MEETING WILL BE HELD.
Medical: Athletic trainers will be available under the food pods in Hall A. Please be sure to bring your own medical kits/first aid supplies or be prepared to purchase it. Standard emergency protocols will be followed in case of injury. Coaches, you are required to have your USAV Medical Release forms with you at all times during the event.
Concessions: Concessions will be sold across in the foyer. Please be sure to adhere to all food/beverage restrictions at each site. Absolutely NO carry-in food (coolers) are allowed anywhere in the facility. Team's that violate any of the facilities rules may be sanctioned.
